i-FAB is an international community of clinicians and researchers who are interested in the biomechanics of the foot and ankle. i-FAB was organized in 2007 to improve the understanding of foot and ankle biomechanics, surgery, and footwear and to foster greater integration among researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives. The 1st Congress, held at the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna Italy in September 2008, attracted 170 delegates from all over the world.

Program:

The Congress program will include lab tours, commercial exhibits, workshops, keynote and invited addresses, extensive poster presentations, a dinner cruise on Puget Sound, and opportunities to network with other professionals in the field.
